Payment calendar and work days
LoanAdmin has two calendar tools: the Payment Calendar, which shows you which collections are due each day of the month, and the Work Calendar, where you set the days you work and your holidays so due dates don't land on a day you don't collect.
Payment Calendar
How to open it
- In the Payments tab, tap the calendar icon.
- Or from the menu (☰) → Functions → Payment Calendar (Collection forecast).
What it shows
- A full month with the total to collect each day.
- Colors for each status: Paid, Due today, Overdue and Upcoming.
- Filter by customer, to see one person's collections only.
- Tap a day to see the list of Payments due on that date.
The Payment Calendar is only in the app; the website doesn't have it.
Work Calendar
Which plan includes it
The Work Calendar is included in the Essential, Professional and Business plans, and during the 60-day trial. If your plan doesn't include it, you'll see Work calendar is available on Essential, Professional, and Business plans. and the calendar isn't applied to your loans.
How to open it
- App: menu (☰) → Settings → Work calendar (in the Preferences group).
- Web: Calendar in the side menu, or Settings → Work Calendar.
What you can set
- Work days: check the days of the week you collect, Monday to Sunday. At least one must stay checked. New accounts start with Monday to Saturday.
- Due date adjustment: what happens when an installment falls on a non-work day or a holiday. Choose Move to previous work day (the default) or Move to next work day.
- Count mora on non-work days (under Mora and notifications): off by default, so only work days count when late fees are calculated. It only applies to loans with late fees turned on; late fees are available on every plan (see Late fees). Only automatic late fees depend on the plan: Professional, Business or the 60-day trial.
- Send reminders on work days only (under Mora and notifications): on by default. It refers to the collection reminders you receive; LoanAdmin never sends messages to your clients.
- Holidays: tap Add holiday to pick a date, or import official holidays by entering the Country code and the Year. Imported holidays are added to the ones you already had.
- In the app, the code comes from your phone's region and you import with the cloud icon button (Import holidays). Imported holidays are saved right away and any unsaved changes in the form are replaced by what was saved, so tap Save before importing.
- On the web, the code starts as
US: change it to your country's code before importing.
Tap Save to keep your changes. On the web, the save button is Apply to full year, and you can also download your holidays with Export .ics to add them to your own calendar.
How it affects your loans
- If a payment date falls on a non-work day or a holiday, LoanAdmin moves it to the previous or next work day, depending on your choice.
- The change applies to all your loans, including existing ones: when you save, we recalculate your due dates.
- Your original payment schedule isn't rewritten; the adjustment is applied when dates are calculated.
