Loan documents and photos
Keep the contract, the client's ID, a photo of the collateral or any proof of payment right next to each loan. That way you have it at hand when you need it, without digging through your phone's gallery.
What you can attach
- Photos from your phone's gallery (on the web: JPG, PNG or WEBP).
- PDF files.
Each document has a type (Contract, Receipt, Guarantee, ID or Other) and a description you write.
How many documents per plan
- Essential: 1 document per loan, up to 8 MB.
- Professional: 5 documents per loan, up to 15 MB each.
- Business: 10 documents per loan, up to 15 MB each.
During the 60-day trial you get the Business limits. Above the list you'll see how many you've used, for example "1/5 documents · Max 15 MB each". If a file is over the maximum, you'll see The file is too large with your plan's limit.
Without a paid plan, the option shows a lock and takes you to the plans.
Attach a document to a loan
- Open the loan and tap its card to see the Options.
- Tap Loan Documents.
- Tap the + button.
- Choose the document type.
- Choose Photo to pick one from your gallery or PDF to pick a file.
- Write the Description (it's prefilled with the type; you can change it) and tap Save.
Once you reach your plan's maximum, the + button is disabled.
Attach documents while creating the loan
When you create a loan, above the calculation summary you'll see the Loan Documents card. It's optional:
- Tap Add and follow the same steps: type, Photo or PDF, and description. You can crop photos before adding them.
- The counter shows how many you've added out of your limit.
- The documents are saved with the loan when you create it.
Photos
Loan photos (the signed contract, the collateral, the ID) are stored right here, as one more document: choose Photo when attaching. They count toward the same document limit of your plan.
- Photos are picked from your phone's gallery. If you need a new photo, take it with the camera first and then attach it.
- The list shows a thumbnail. Tap it to see it full screen; you can pinch to zoom.
Client photos are a different thing: they're added in the client's profile and don't count as loan documents.
View and delete
- View: tap a document. Photos open full screen; PDFs open in your phone's PDF app.
- Each document shows its type, size and the date you uploaded it.
- Delete: tap the document's trash icon and confirm with Delete. The document is permanently removed and frees up its spot in your limit.
With Team
If you work with Team members, they can also see the documents of the loans they work with, from the same option in the loan's Options:
- Admin, Agent and Collector can upload documents with Add document (up to 15 MB each). Viewers can only see them.
- Each document shows Uploaded by with the name of the person who uploaded it.
- Each member can delete the documents they uploaded themselves. You and your Admins can delete any of them.
On the web
On loanadmin.app, open the loan and click Documents. You'll see the same list of loan documents:
- Click Add Document and choose the type in Select Document Type.
- Pick the file from your computer (JPG, PNG, WEBP or PDF).
- Write the Document Label and click Upload.
Images open in a preview and PDFs in a new tab. To delete one, click the trash icon and confirm in Delete Document.
