End of day report
The End of day report is a one-page summary of your business for the dates you choose: the loans you handed out, the payments you collected and what you earned on them. It's the report most lenders run before closing their books at night.
It's available to everyone who uses LoanAdmin, whatever the plan.
Where to find it
It lives inside Reports, not on the Dashboard.
On a phone:
- On the Dashboard, tap the menu button (☰) at the top-right.
- Tap Reports.
- Tap End of day — it's the first report, under Daily operations.
On a tablet: tap your photo on the Dashboard to open Profile, then Reports → End of day.
On the web app (Business plan):
- Click Reports in the sidebar.
- Click the End of Day card (the one with the Daily badge).
The web report has its own address, /reports/end-of-day, but it needs a date range to show anything. The Reports page passes the dates for you, so always open it from there.
Choosing the dates
Despite the name, the report isn't locked to today.
- Mobile: after you tap End of day, a screen asks for a From and a To date. Pick both and tap CONTINUE. For a normal daily close, set both to today.
- Web: the date-range button at the top of the Reports page sets the dates for every report that needs them. If you don't touch it, the report uses today, which is what you want most evenings.
You need an internet connection to generate the report.
What the report shows
At the top: your company name, address and phone (from your profile) and the From/To dates you picked.
Summary
- # of Loans — how many loans started inside the range.
- Total of Loans — the combined amount of those loans.
- Total of Payments — everything you collected inside the range: capital plus interest.
- Total of Earnings — only the interest part of those payments. This is what the day actually earned.
Detail
Every movement inside the range, one row each, with the customer's name, the Date, the type (Trans: Loan or Payment) and the Amount:
- Loan rows — loans whose start date falls inside the range, at their total amount.
- Payment rows — payments whose transaction date falls inside the range.
More than one currency
If the range has amounts in more than one currency, a row of currency chips appears.
- Mobile: the report opens on All Currencies and shows one summary per currency. Tap a currency chip to see only that currency.
- Web: LoanAdmin preselects your default currency; tap another chip to switch.
Amounts are never converted between currencies — each currency is a separate set of books.
Sharing, printing and exporting
On mobile, two buttons sit under the report:
- Share — creates a PDF and opens your phone's share menu, so you can send it by WhatsApp or email or save it to Files or Drive.
- Print — opens the print preview. It also works with a paired Bluetooth printer.
On the web, there are four:
- Export CSV — columns Trans, Date, Customer and Amount. Opens in Excel or Google Sheets.
- Export TXT — the same columns as plain text.
- Share — uses your browser's share menu where the browser supports it.
- Print — prints only the report; the sidebar and the buttons are left out.
Note: on the web, the CSV and TXT exports include every currency in the range, even when a currency chip is selected. What you see on screen is filtered; the file isn't.
A good closing routine
Run it with From and To both set to today, right after your last collection of the day:
- Compare Total of Payments with the cash you're actually holding.
- Compare # of Loans and Total of Loans with what you handed out.
- Share the PDF to your own WhatsApp or email. It's a dated record of the day and costs you one tap.
