Account setup
When you create your account, LoanAdmin offers 6 short steps to set the app up your way: how you lend, late fees, your work days, receipts, collection alerts and security. They're all optional and you can change them later in Settings.
When it appears
First you complete the 4 essential sign-up steps (Step N of 4): Create your account, What's your name?, Your business and Currency and country. Then you'll see the Let's keep setting up your business screen:
- Continue opens the setup, which shows Setup · N of 6 at the top.
- Skip for now · go to my plan leaves all 6 steps pending and takes you to your plan.
Accounts created before this setup existed don't see it.
Moving through the steps
- Continue saves what you chose and moves to the next step. On the reminders step the button says Turn on reminders.
- Skip moves to the next step without changing anything: the recommended values stay.
- The Back arrow returns to the previous step.
The 6 steps
- How do you lend? Choose your Most common collection frequency, whether The interest rate is Monthly or Per period, Round amounts to (or No rounding) and the Loan types you use. At least one type must stay on.
- Late fee. Turn on Charge late fees if you charge extra for late payments, and enter the Late fee percentage (on the overdue installment) and the Grace days. If your plan includes it, you'll also see Apply late fees automatically. It starts off.
- Which days do you collect? Mark your work days (if you never set them, Monday to Saturday come selected). You can turn on Holidays in your country to import its holidays, and Late fees on working days only. If your plan doesn't include the work calendar, you'll see a notice and can skip the step.
- Your receipts. You see a receipt preview with your business name and logo. Choose Show outstanding balance and Show next installment, and if you want, connect a Bluetooth printer with Connect.
- Collection reminders. With Notify me about collections we let you know which customers pay today. Choose the Reminder time and when to Notify: Same day, 1 day before or 3 days before. If you leave alerts on, tapping Turn on reminders makes your phone ask for permission to send notifications.
- Protect your information. You can turn on Sign in with Face ID, create a 5-digit PIN and choose Ask for access every time I open the app. This step only counts as done if you turn on Face ID or a PIN and leave Ask for access every time I open the app on.
When you finish
After the last step you see your plan, under You have 60 free days. You can choose a plan or tap Skip and use my 60 free days.
- If you completed all 6 steps, you'll see Business all set up!, with Create my first loan and Go to home.
- If steps are missing, you'll see Your account is active and how many are left, with Finish setup and Create my first loan. In the meantime we use recommended values.
Finish it later
For 10 days, the home screen shows the Finish setting up your business notice with the steps left. Tap Continue to pick up where you left off: you'll only see the steps you didn't complete. If you tap the ✕ (Remind me tomorrow), the notice goes away until the next day.

- Currency and country: Currency & format. See Currencies, language and country.
On the web
If you create your account on loanadmin.app, you'll see the same 6 steps, with Skip this step and Skip all and go to my plan. On Protect your information, Face ID and PIN are turned on in the app: the web shows a QR code to download it.
