Where to see your totals: amount lent, interest and capital on the street

LoanAdmin shows your business numbers in two places: the Home screen (the dashboard) and Capital, on the Professional and Business plans. Here's what each figure means so you know where to look.

On the Home dashboard

Tap Home in the bottom bar. Depending on the widgets you have turned on, you'll see:

  • Earnings Last 30 Days: the interest you collected in the last 30 days.
  • Active loans and Active customers: how many loans have an outstanding balance and how many customers have them.
  • New loans vs interest received: how much you lent and how much interest you collected in the period you choose.
  • Payments vs active balance: how much you collected in the period and how much principal is still out in active loans.
  • Loans / Payments: a chart of loans and payments by period.
  • Recent Loans.

The charts have a period selector (7 days, or 2, 5, 13 and 25 weeks). If you work with several currencies, pick the currency in the chart selector to see the amounts in that currency.

Principal, not total debt. The active loans balance adds up the principal you're owed, without the interest of the remaining installments. That's why it's lower than the sum of all pending installments. See Installments and interest.

Choose what to see

To show or hide these blocks, open the menu (☰) › Settings › Dashboard widgets. You can have up to 4 widgets on Essential and Loyalty, and up to 6 on Professional and Business (also during the trial). When you reach the limit you'll see Your plan allows 4 widgets (or 6, depending on your plan): remove one to add another.

In Capital (Professional and Business)

Capital is where you keep track of your business's money. Open it from the menu (☰) › Functions › Capital. It's included in the Professional and Business plans, and you can also use it during the free trial.

There you'll see:

  • Cash on hand: the money you have available to lend, based on your movements.
  • Initial capital: the amount you started with. You set it with Set initial capital.
  • Capital on the street: the outstanding principal of your active loans.
  • Monthly profit: interest collected + late fees collected − expenses.
  • Movements: the loans you disburse and the payments you collect are recorded automatically (marked AUTO). You record capital contributions, withdrawals and expenses yourself with New movement.

Capital is a record: it doesn't move money or connect to your bank. See Capital.

On the web (Business)

With the Business plan you can also see your dashboard and reports on the web at loanadmin.app, and export them to Excel. See Export to Excel.
