Loan performance report

The Loan Performance report answers "how did my lending go in this period?": how much you lent, how much came back, and how much of that was interest.

Who can open it

Included in the 60-day trial and in every paid plan (Essential, Professional and Business). It isn't part of the legacy Loyalty plan unless you also have a subscription.

Where to find it

  • Phone: Dashboard → menu button (☰) at the top-right → Reports → Loan Performance (under Portfolio).
  • Tablet: tap your photo on the Dashboard → Profile → Reports → Loan Performance.
  • Web app (Business plan): Reports in the sidebar → Loan Performance card.

Choosing the dates

On mobile, pick a From and a To date and tap CONTINUE. On the web, use the date-range button at the top of the Reports page. You need an internet connection to generate the report.

What the report shows

Loans issued

  • # of Loans Issued — loans whose start date falls inside the range.
  • Total Loaned Amount — the total of those loans.

Payments received

  • # of Payments Received — payments recorded inside the range.
  • Total Payments Received — capital plus interest.
  • Total Interest Earned — only the interest.
  • Total Principal Recovered — only the capital that came back.

Performance metrics

  • Return on Investment (ROI) — Total Interest Earned divided by Total Loaned Amount, as a percentage.
  • Recovery Rate — Total Principal Recovered divided by Total Loaned Amount, as a percentage.
Why can a percentage go above 100%? Both metrics compare payments received in the range with loans issued in the same range. Payments on older loans also count, so a period in which you lent little but collected a lot can show a recovery rate above 100%. Choose longer ranges (a quarter or a year) for a steadier picture.

More than one currency

This report adds all currencies together without converting them. If your loans are in more than one currency, the app shows a Mixed Currencies warning with the currencies involved — read the totals with that in mind.

Sharing and printing

  • Mobile: Share (PDF to WhatsApp, email, Files, Drive…) and Print.
  • Web: Export CSV, Export TXT, Share and Print.

Tips

  • Run it on the first day of each month for the month before and keep the PDF. Month-to-month comparisons say more than a single snapshot.
  • To see who is behind, use the Expected payments report or, on the web, Overdue Loans.
