Joining a team (collectors and members)

If a lender invited you to their team in LoanAdmin, this guide explains how to accept the invitation, how to switch between your account and the company, and what you can do depending on your role.

1. Open the link in the email

You'll receive an invitation email with a link. Open it on your phone, with the LoanAdmin app installed: the link opens the app directly.

  • If you don't have an account, create one with the same email the invitation was sent to.
  • If you already have an account, sign in with that email.

The app keeps the invitation while you sign in or sign up, and shows it to you once you're in.

Important: the invitation lasts 7 days. If it expired, ask the person who invited you to send a new one.

2. Accept the invitation

You'll see the screen You've been invited to a team. Tap Accept invitation (or Not now if you want to do it later).

If you see This invitation is for a different email, you signed in with another account. Tap Sign out and switch account and sign in (or create your account) with the invited email. The invitation stays saved.

3. Go to the company or stay in your account

After accepting you'll see You're on the team! with two options:

  • Go to (company name): you start working on that company's portfolio.
  • Stay in my account: you stay in your personal account. You can go to the company whenever you want.

Your personal account and the company's are separate: nothing from your account is shared with the company, or the other way around.

Switching between your account and the company

  • Open the menu (☰) from Home and tap Switch company. Choose the company or your own account.
  • Inside the company, Home also has a Back to my account button.

What you can do by role

The person who invited you chooses your role, and it appears next to the company name as Admin, Loan agent, Collector or Viewer.

  • Collector: sees the clients assigned to them and records their collections. If they have a budget, they see the Your budget card. In Functions they have My route, with their collections of the day.
  • Loan agent: can also create and edit loans for their assigned clients (and create new clients if the owner allowed it).
  • Viewer: can only look at the assigned clients.
  • Admin: sees the whole portfolio and can manage the team. They also see the company's Capital ledger read-only, from their Home (View Capital ledger).

As a member you don't see the company's Reports or Reminders. If you're a Loan agent, Collector or Viewer you don't see the Capital ledger either, and you only work with the clients assigned to you. A collector can't create loans or delete payments.

Day-to-day work happens in the phone app. On the web, as a member you see Team and Capital (your budget). Inside Team, a collector also has My route, and an Admin has Activity, Map & route and Trash.

Location when collecting (collectors)

If you're a collector, the company can record where you collect each payment. The first time you'll see a screen explaining what is saved, and you can choose Allow location or Not now. If you say no, the payment is still recorded. All the details in Location when collecting.

If you see "Your access is paused"

The owner's Business plan ended. While it's paused you can't see or change the company's data. Ask the administrator to renew it. Meanwhile you can tap Back to my account or Logout.
