How to delete your account and your data
You can delete your LoanAdmin account and the data stored in it at any time, from the app or from loanadmin.app. If you can't get into your account, you can also ask us to delete it by email. This page explains each option and what gets deleted.
Important: deleting your account can't be undone. Once your clients, loans and payments are deleted, we can't recover them.
Before you start
- Cancel your subscription separately. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription you pay for through a store. If you paid on an iPhone or iPad, cancel it in the App Store (your profile picture → Subscriptions). If you paid on Android, cancel it in Google Play (your profile picture → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions). If you paid on loanadmin.app, go to Settings → Subscription and tap Manage Subscription.
- Keep a copy if you need one. After the account is deleted we can no longer send it to you. See Requesting a copy of your data.
From the app (phone or tablet)
- On Home, tap the menu button (☰) at the top right.
- Tap Settings.
- Below your profile card, tap Edit profile. This opens Profile information.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap the red Delete Account button.
- Read the warning and tap Delete to confirm.
The app may ask you to confirm your identity with the same method you use to sign in (Google, Apple or your password). When it finishes, the app returns to the start screen.
From the web
- On a computer, sign in at loanadmin.app with the same account. On phone-sized screens the website asks you to use the app instead.
- Open Settings → Profile information.
- Click Delete account.
- Confirm: if you sign in with email and password, enter your current password; if you sign in with Google or Apple, type
DELETEin the confirmation field. - Click Delete.
If you see a message asking you to sign in again, sign out, sign back in and repeat the steps.
If your trial or subscription has ended
When the 60-day trial or your subscription ends, the app shows a screen with a Delete my account option. On the web it depends: if your subscription ended, you'll see that same screen; if your trial ended, the website lets you keep viewing your data in view-only mode, with a View-only mode notice at the top.
On the screen with Delete my account, to confirm, type the word the screen asks for (in English, DELETE) and tap Delete permanently. This option sends a deletion request that our team processes; it is not instant.
What gets deleted
When you delete your account, we delete your access and your account data: clients, loans, payments and settings. You will no longer be able to sign in with that account.
If you want to confirm that nothing was left behind, write to us and we'll check.
If you can't get into the app
Email support@loanadmin.app from the address you used to create the account and ask us to delete it. If you can still sign in but deletion fails, open a ticket from the menu (☰) → Help & Support → Create ticket.
