The Dashboard
The Dashboard is the Home tab, the first screen you see when you sign in. It summarizes how your portfolio is doing and gives you quick access to the rest of the app.
What you'll see, top to bottom (phone)
Top bar. On the left, your photo: tap it to change it. Next to it, today's date and a greeting, Hello, {your name}. On the right, the menu button (☰), which opens Reports, Functions and Settings. See Settings.
Finish setting up your business. If your account is new, this reminder can appear at the top during your first 10 days with the steps you still have left. Tap Continue to pick up where you left off, or the ✕ to be reminded tomorrow.
Today's reminders. A card with the messages ready to send on WhatsApp: how many payments are due tomorrow, due today and overdue, and how many you've Sent today. Tapping it opens Payments › Reminders. It only appears when there are reminders to send and your plan includes them. See WhatsApp reminders.
Period and currency filters. The 7D, 2W, 5W, 13W and 25W buttons (days and weeks) change the period used by the gauges and the chart. Unless you pick another one, 5W is used. If you lend in more than one currency, a button per currency appears below so you can view one at a time. LoanAdmin never converts amounts between currencies.
Gauges. Two side-by-side cards:
- New loans vs interest received — how much you lent in new loans compared with how much interest you collected in the period.
- Payments vs active balance — how much you collected in the period compared with what is still outstanding on your active loans.
Activities. The ACTIVE LOANS card shows how many loans you have active and, on the right, how many Active customers. Tapping it takes you to the Loans tab.
Recent Loans. Your last 3 loans, with the customer's name, the date you created the loan, the amount and the rate. See all takes you to the Loans tab. If you have no loans yet, you'll see No recent loans.
Your trial. While you're on the 60-day trial, the bottom of the Dashboard shows how many days you have left and a button to see the plans. See Plans and trial.
To refresh the numbers, pull the screen down.
Choosing which cards to show
Besides the four cards shown by default, you can add two more:
- Earnings — the Earnings Last 30 Days card, with the interest you collected in the last 30 days.
- Loans / Payments — a chart of loans and payments over the selected period.
To change them, open the menu (☰) › Settings › Dashboard widgets and tap each card to show or hide it.
- 60-day trial, Professional and Business: up to 6 cards.
- Essential and the legacy Loyalty plan: up to 4 cards. To add one, remove another.
- No active plan or trial: the Dashboard keeps the four default cards.
Cards always appear in the same order; they can't be reordered. On the same screen, Show dashboard help again replays the guided tour of the Dashboard.
Bottom navigation
At the bottom of the app there are four tabs and, in the middle, the green + button:
- Home — this Dashboard.
- Loans — your loans grouped by customer. See Loan list.
- + — creates a new loan. See Creating a loan.
- Payments — your Collections and your WhatsApp Reminders.
- Clients — your customer directory.
On a tablet
The Dashboard shows the same information in a wider layout. At the top, your photo opens Profile (where Reports and your settings are) and the + button creates a loan. The tabs at the bottom are the same.
Team members
If you sign in as a team member of another company, Home shows a different panel with the data from that company that your role lets you see. See Team.
On the web (Business plan)
On loanadmin.app, the Dashboard is Dashboard in the sidebar. At the top you'll see Hello, {your name} and these buttons:
- The gear (Edit dashboard widgets), to choose which widgets to show, where to place them and how big they are. You can have up to 9.
- Refresh, to reload the numbers.
- Export PDF, to download a summary of the Dashboard.
- New Loan.
When you have payments due today or tomorrow, a notice shows how many payments are due today and how many are overdue, with a View today's payments button.
