Capital: your cash book

Updated 10/6/2026 · 3 min read

Capital: your cash book

Capital is the cash book of your lending business: how much cash you have, how much is lent out on the street, what came in and went out, and how much you earned this month.

Plan: Capital is included in the Professional and Business plans, and also during the free trial. Loyalty users (old one-time purchase) don't have it.

Where to find it

  • On your phone: open the menu (☰) from Home › Functions › Capital.
  • On the web (loanadmin.app, Business plan): side menu › Capital.

If you use several currencies, switch currency at the top: each currency has its own book and amounts are never converted between currencies.

What you see at the top

  • Cash on hand: your cash balance in that currency.
  • Initial capital: the amount your capital started with. Tap that row to Set initial capital.
  • Capital on the street: what you've lent and is still pending collection. If the figure isn't available yet you'll see "—" instead of a zero.
  • Credits and Debits for the month: everything that came in and went out this month.

Profit of the month

The month's profit card uses this formula:

Profit = interest + late fees − expenses

  • Partner withdrawals (category "Partner payment/personal withdrawal") lower your cash, but not your profit.
  • Older payments that have no interest breakdown aren't counted in the profit; the app tells you how many there are.
  • Below you'll see the month's expenses by category. Tap a category to see its movements.

Automatic movements

LoanAdmin records these on its own, with the AUTO label:

  • Disbursement (debit) when you create a loan.
  • Payment received (credit) when you record a payment, with its principal, interest and late-fee breakdown when the payment has one.
  • The matching reversal if you delete a payment or a loan.

You don't need to do anything: the book fills up with your daily work.

Manual movements

For money that comes in or goes out outside of loans:

  1. Tap + (New movement).
  2. Choose Capital contribution (money comes in, credit) or Withdrawal or expense (money goes out, debit).
  3. Enter the amount. For a withdrawal or expense, choose the Category (transport, collector commission, stationery, phone, food, partner payment or other).
  4. Optional: a note for Origin of the money or Destination of the money, and the Counterparty.
  5. Tap Save movement.

Tap any movement to see its details: concept, note, linked loan and the balance after the movement.

Print or share

Tap the printer icon (Print or share movements), choose the date range, and then:

  • Print: preview to print or save.
  • Share PDF: on WhatsApp, email or anywhere.

Team and budgets

If you're on paid Business with Team (not included in the free trial), Capital shows Team budgets so you can limit how much each member can lend. Agents, collectors and viewers don't see your cash or your book: those with a budget only see their own Your budget card. An Admin sees your book read-only from their Home (View Capital ledger). More in Team.
